what's been going 4 u in the last 1o years decor wise? can u even remember the year 2000?
well big clocks kept getting bigger. saturated color painted on walls was huge. & dark floors. & lampshade chandelier style fixtures. & lamps with organic gourd shapes a blast from the retro past of the big lamps of the 1960's & 1970's.the tv came out of the closet, or rather the armoire or worse the entertainment center. as flat screens became affordable it became ok to admit u watch tv & 2 show it out in the open.
letters as in spelling out things have been a big thing for the last 10 years.
here's more letters with the least obnoxious message i could find.
iron beds 4 poster with a canopy were huge & never dressed with bed hangings god forbid. note the pair of tables another trend, & the stripe rug, & the wallpaper-lots of trends here.
foo dogs. u know how i feel about foo dogs, even though i had them 2 (i had to put them down) & another pair of tables, & antique frame furniture covered in modern fabric - this is ivanka trump the room blogged about like forever.

graphic prints on bedding. & more wallpaper. & padded headboards.
busts were big.
it's been a very decorative decade.more to come later.
