Afternoon Snack

There are a lot of elements I like in this room but the curtains described as "wool paisley" really peak my interest. I would love to see them up close.

Red Inspiration

Love this kitchen by Windsor Smith, makes me want to add red somewhere in my house...This bed skirt (I know I am jumping here) is going in my bedding inspiration file...
The rest of the room isn't bad either...

If Life Was A Movie....

I would hope mine was a Nancy Meyers movie. I was excited to see an article in Traditional Home about her latest project, It's Complicated, featuring yet another envy inducing, but down to earth home....
Even the tree in the front yard is perfect.
Large rustic table, dark window frames, industrial looking lighting, yes please! (Have I mentioned my love for pot racks before? I don't think so but I do LOVE them.)
I know we have seen these before but why don't take a stroll down memory lane at some other movies of hers...First Something's Gotta Give...
And we can't forget Marianne's First Movie Crush, err I mean The Holiday...
What movie set would you like to live on?

The Other Room....

....I am loving in this month's Traditional Home. I hate to use 2 rooms from the same magazine but this one I LOVE. Designed by Elizabeth Bailey, this room is full of details that deserve a second look.
Did you see the rug, Lucite table, pink tray, bolster, and headboard above? LOVE the sofa below....
Hello console and antique chair. Branches add so much to this room (even if temporary). And what about the lining of the bed curtains?
How beautiful is this side table set up?
This may be one of my favorite rooms ever. I really do wish it were mine. Well maybe my getaway room.....

I Spy...An Eagle

Have you noticed these regency eagle mirrors all over the place lately? I have.

I seem to be quite taken by them but I am not sure if it is something I like because I am seeing them more or if it is something I would like without outside influences affecting me...
